Punching machine as an important equipment for metal processing, its operation and maintenance involves productivity, product quality and personal safety and other aspects. 1, Preparation work before operation

Before starting the punching machine, a comprehensive inspection must be carried out. First of all, confirm that the power line is not broken and the grounding is reliable, so as to avoid equipment damage or electric shock accident caused by electrical failure. Check whether the lubrication system is normal, each lubrication point should be filled with the appropriate amount of lubricant to ensure that the slider, guide rail and other moving parts run smoothly. Mold installation must be firm, upper and lower mold alignment, to avoid misalignment caused by bad products or equipment damage.

Operators should wear protective equipment, including helmets, protective eyewear, noise-proof earplugs, etc., to avoid injury from splashing debris or noise. Work clothes should fit properly to avoid loose clothing being caught in the equipment. At the same time, clean up the workbench and surrounding area to ensure that no debris impedes operation or equipment operation.

2, Safety norms during operation

When the press is running, the operator must concentrate his / her attention, and it is strictly forbidden to talk with others or operate with distraction. Both hands should be kept in a safe position. For equipment using two-handed start buttons, both buttons must be pressed at the same time to start the stamping action to prevent accidents caused by one-handed operation. It is strictly prohibited to put hands or other parts of the body into the mold area, even if the equipment is in a state of shutdown, you should use special tools to adjust or remove the workpiece.

3, Mold use and maintenance

Mold is the core component of the punching machine, and its status directly affects the processing quality and equipment safety. Before installing the die, it is necessary to check whether the die is in good condition, without cracks or serious wear. When installing the die, make sure that the upper and lower dies are aligned and the fastening bolts are evenly loaded to avoid damage to the die or equipment due to partial load. When stamping different materials, the clearance of the mold should be adjusted, hard materials need a larger clearance, while soft materials can be appropriately reduced.

Clean the surface of the mold regularly to remove oil and metal debris to prevent impurities from affecting processing accuracy. Molds not used for a long time should be coated with antirust oil and properly stored to avoid rust and corrosion. If the mold is chipped or deformed, it should be replaced in time, and should not be used reluctantly, so as not to cause inferior products or equipment failure.

4, Equipment maintenance and maintenance

Daily maintenance is the key to ensure the long-term stable operation of the punch press. At the end of each day's work, the surface of the equipment and the working table should be cleaned up, and the fasteners should be checked to see if they are loose. Regularly check the transmission system, such as belts, gears, connecting rods and other parts of the wear and tear, if necessary, to adjust or replace. Hydraulic press machine needs to check the oil level and oil quality regularly, replenish or replace the hydraulic oil in time to avoid system failure due to oil contamination.

The lubrication system should be filled with the specified type of lubricant on time, especially the guide rail and bearing parts of the high-speed punch press, lack of oil will lead to serious wear. The electrical system should be kept dry and clean, and the terminals should be checked regularly to see if they are loose, so as to avoid malfunction caused by poor contact.

5, Precautions for special working conditions

When processing high hardness or special materials, it is necessary to appropriately reduce the stamping speed to reduce the impact on the mold and equipment. For large workpieces, it should be ensured that the table load-bearing is even to avoid local overload. When operating at night or under the environment of insufficient light, it is necessary to ensure sufficient lighting to avoid misoperation due to unclear vision.

When more than one person work together, must be clear division of labor, by the person responsible for equipment start and stop, other personnel shall not operate without authorization. If you need to adjust the mold or repair equipment, you must cut off the power supply and hang a warning sign to prevent others from accidentally starting.

6, Emergency treatment

If the jammed mold or the workpiece is not demolded, the equipment shall not be started forcibly, and special tools shall be used to take out the workpiece or mold. In case of sudden power failure, the power switch should be turned off immediately to prevent the equipment from starting automatically after the power supply is restored, which may cause danger. If the equipment has abnormal heating, smoke or odor, it should be shut down immediately and contact professional personnel for maintenance, do not disassemble by yourself.

The safe and efficient operation of presses depends on standardized operation and careful maintenance.
