Any mechanical equipment will encounter some special situations to varying degrees during use. Below, I will explain how to prevent barrel shaped deformation of the cone rolling machine.

As is well known, the main reason for the barrel shaped deformation of the cone rolling machine is due to insufficient rigidity, which causes the roller shaft to deform, resulting in uneven stress at various points along the length direction of the flower viewing roller shaft on the same layer of board. It is very important to maintain a uniform gap between the upper and lower rollers and ensure that the clamping force and bending force on the plate are the same in order to roll the ideal cylinder. To solve this problem, corresponding measures should be taken to prevent deformation of the roller shaft or to compensate and eliminate roller shaft deformation. According to the specific situation, the following measures can be taken separately:
1. The roller shaft of the selected cone rolling machine should have sufficient rigidity, so that even when using large-sized polyurethane sheets, each roller shaft will not deform. However, the rigidity of the roller shaft is related to its cross-sectional modulus and is limited by the equipment structure and other factors. Therefore, it is recommended that each equipment manufacturer consider designing each roller shaft with a slight arc shape based on the length of the cone rolling machine, the performance of the coil material, plate thickness, and other different parameters, that is, adjusting the layout of the roller shaft.
2. When selecting a cone rolling machine, an auxiliary support roller should be installed in the middle of the lower roller to enhance its rigidity. The number of auxiliary support rollers should be set according to the length of the equipment, or a combination of roller shaft arc correction and auxiliary support rollers can be used.
3. For cone rolling machines without roller shaft and lower roller auxiliary support roller arc correction, try not to roll the drum when the equipment reaches its maximum capacity, but instead splice the drums in sections. Thus, the stiffness of the roller shaft of the cone rolling machine can withstand the pressure and rolling force during the rolling process without deformation.
4. Without affecting the rolling of the sheet, appropriately reduce the upper roller pressure, decrease the amount of each pressing, and reduce the deflection of each roller shaft. Make the gap between the upper and lower rollers almost the same, which can reduce the barrel deformation of the gun barrel.
During the rolling process, two lemon cavity pads are placed between the sheet metal and the upper roller to assist in adjustment, in order to maintain the basic consistency of the compressive and bending forces of the sheet metal along the length direction of the roller axis.
